Social distancing and stay at home orders are keeping many of us from living our “normal” lives. From browsing the racks at T.J. Maxx, gathering with friends and family, and even getting checkups from our doctors, dentists, and orthodontists, many of us feel stuck. To combat this, Randall Orthodontics in Idaho Falls is offering virtual consultations and urgent orthodontic care for all current and new patients.

If you were looking forward to getting braces or Invisalign to correct your smile or bite, you still can!

And, you don’t have to wait until stay at home orders are lifted! Our virtual orthodontic consultations will still help you decide if you are a candidate for orthodontic treatment and you won’t even have to leave your couch.

Virtual Orthodontic Consultations: Getting Started

Have you been considering getting braces for yourself or your child? Maybe you’ve wanted to straighten your teeth with the help of Invisalign. However, now that we are stuck at home, getting in to see the orthodontist in Idaho Falls for braces (in most cases) is considered an elective or cosmetic service, a.k.a, nonessential. But we believe that orthodontic treatment is essential, especially if you feel uncomfortable emotionally or physically.

So, to get you in as soon as possible, we are offering virtual orthodontic consultations from now until the foreseeable future.

Virtual consultations give us the chance to see whether or not braces or any other orthodontic treatment are right for you. It also gives us the chance to build a relationship with you and for you to decide if we are a good fit for you

Plus, getting all the information we need to schedule an Idaho Falls orthodontic consultation with you is easy and only takes a few minutes. Here’s the information we need on our virtual consultation form, which you can find here:

  1. Your name and contact information so we can contact you to schedule your appointment.
  2. Images of your smile. To better serve you at your consultation, we will need images of your right, left and center bites, as well as the upper and lower arches of your teeth.

Anything from whether or not you have had orthodontic treatment in the past or if you are experiencing any pain to whether or not you have dental insurance is helpful, but not required.
  4. After you have uploaded your images and put in the necessary information, click submit.
  5. Our Idaho Falls orthodontic office will be in contact with you shortly to schedule a virtual consultation that best fits your schedule.

After you have set up your appointment with our Idaho Falls orthodontic office, then it’s time for your consultation!

If you’ve had the opportunity to be on a Zoom call, you know how it can feel slightly “different” at first. But this our “new normal”, and there is nothing to be nervous about during your consultation with Dr. Randall. He will have already had the chance to look over your bite and teeth and from here, he will discuss what your options are moving forward.

Depending on your budget, lifestyle, and the positioning of your teeth, Dr. Randall will work with you to find an orthodontic treatment solution that will be the most effective option to have you smiling with confidence in no time!

Most virtual consultations will take about half an hour. This length of time will give Dr. Randall the chance to explain to you what treatment options are available to you, how long and what the process looks like, and what you can expect at your first in-person appointment. This also allows you to ask as many questions or voice any concerns you may have about the process.

Once the consultation is complete. Dr. Randall will schedule the first appointment at his Idaho Falls orthodontic office in accordance to the stay at home order and your schedule.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office at any time. We look forward to helping you smile with confidence.
